I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out a way to honor this day in a single photograph. I love the flag of the United States of America, to me it is a symbol of all that is right with this country, all the hopes and dreams we share. Looking closer at the flag I noticed the stitches and realized that like our country is made up of a lot of little stories, our flag is made of many stitches, some different colors, some different directions but together they are bound together into something beautiful and majestic. We truely are a blessed nation, and we should not take that lightly. Thanks to all who have sacrificed for this country and thanks to all that serve.
